Description:Are you a highly skilled embedded software engineer seeking to work in an innovative engineering environment? Our MFC (Missiles and Fire Control) Engineering & Technology (E&T) Team in Dallas, TX is seeking a creative software engineer with a strong background in Software Architecture for our PAC-3 family of products.Primary responsibilities will involve supporting the development of artifacts in support of program reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and driving the release of the System Architecture Description document (SAD) for Air and Missile Defense programs under the PAC-3 umbrella.Additional responsibilities will include maintaining the SAD by incorporating design changes and assuring that all changes accurately describe the affected system(s) as built. Serve as a System Architecture Expert to support the customer and subcontractors during design decisions and technical evaluations.Basic Qualifications:* Candidate should have extensive knowledge of modern air and missile defense systems* Candidate must be an advanced user of Modeling Tools and capable of creating Use Cases and detailed Use diagrams-Embedded OS or RTOS experience with products such as VxWorks, OpenRTOS, or Linux* The candidate must be able to support system interface requirements analyses (UML system architecture/interface analyses) and the resulting development and maintenance of the System Interface Specification (IFS) and System ICD documents* Candidate must be familiar with command, control, time synchronization, launcher/missile/radar control algorithms and AMD timelinesDesired Skills:* Skill conducting manual review of design and implementation for weaknesses and vulnerabilities* Skill in using dynamic and static code analysis tools* System and Software Cybersecurity expertise* Skill in performing root cause analysis* Active security certification aligned to DoDI 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-m baselinesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
