Description:Manages general servicing, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Perform as an integrated Avionics Technician, providing support in installing, maintaining and performing avionic systems checkouts on the F-16V program, to include flight controls, sensors, radar and comm nav systems. Ensures Good Housekeeping and Safety practices are enforced. Responsible for customer training via On-The-Job Training and complete work assignments in accordance with joint technical guidance. May perform periodic inspections and general overhaul and repairs or modifications requiring replacement and assembly of parts. Provides technical assistance as required. Performs Safety of Flight Completed Maintenance Inspections and In Progress Inspections.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with F16 mod project management and aircraft modification.

Must have F-16 avionics experience

F-16/F-35 Production experience

Depot and/or Field Modification experience

Must possess 4 years aircraft avionics experience.

Must have been previously awarded an Air Force 5 to 9 skill level or equivalent USMC or US Navy CDI qualification or possess equivalent civilian experience with associated credential.

Must be able to read and understand F-16 engineering drawings and documents.

Must be willing to work flexible schedules, first or second shift.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills:

Experience working with Foreign Nationals and working within foreign cultures.

Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplined team, providing program/modification management and technical assistance consultation, international office management, Time Compliance Technical Orders, Job guides, Crew Board, Precedence Diagrams, Crew Loading and Work Plans. Experience interfacing with all levels of foreign government and LM Aero management. Knowledge of International Human Resources foreign assignment policies and procedures, as well as in-country Operating Procedures. Familiarity with foreign taxes, foreign banking and managing budgets is beneficial. Understanding of basic program management principles and applications, expertise in developing technical and manufacturing/modification solutions in an international environment. Background in F-16 modification and production a definite plus. Excellent communication skills and a thorough knowledge of production tooling application and manufacturing processes.
